Don and Carol Morris, granddaughter, Kayla Savory, Allure Belgians
Don and I met our first Belgian Sheepdog in 1976 and acquired our first in 1982. To date we have had 18 Belgians Sheepdogs, 1 tervuren and 1 malinois. Most of dogs have championships as well as titles in obedience, rally, herding, agility, tracking, as well as therapy certified. We have bred sparingly; only when we want a puppy, and paying careful attention to quality, not quantity. We breed for sound temperament, structure, and health, adhering to the standard, not the extreme ion size or type.
Don is retired from the USAF and the University of California, Davis.
Carol teaches science and math at a residential school for wayward teenage boys. Kayla has been training and showing Belgians since the age of 6. She was the 2004 National Specialty Junior Showmanship winner. She is currently attending a charter high school and Columbia Community College.
We have 4 adult Belgians in residence, plus my husband's Australian Shepherd and my son's English Cocker Spaniel. We recently moved to several acres in Los Gatos, up in the Santa Cruz Mountains from Washington State.
As a breeder, I strive to produce Belgian Sheepdogs with stable and biddable temperaments, and strive to combine European type with sound structure and movement. Health is extremely important and all my breeding stock is OFA normal hips and elbows. Eyes are checked annually and CERFd.
I work my dogs in agility and herding, some in tracking and obedience too. This gives me a much better understanding of their performance capabilities and drives as a breeder. Plus I just plain enjoy training dogs, that is why I selected Belgians in the first place, they enjoy being trained!
Dan Otoshi
I bought Shadow, AKA Gabriel, from Lorra Miller in 1997. Before that I had a Tervuren who may have been mixed with something else. I know Shadow is a simplistic name for a black dog, but I named him that because he is always right behind me. I don’t see you all as often as I would like, especially on play days, but I take my dogs camping about four to five weeks a year, and we go skiing almost every weekend in the winter, so I miss most of the meetings. Shadow and his non-Belgian friend Kelly (whom some of you have met) love boating and camping, and really LOVE the snow. During the winter, every time I start my Tahoe the dogs whine, thinking we’re headed to Lake Tahoe. I hope your dogs get to have as much fun as mine do, and I hope to see you all soon.

I am a Graphic Designer living in Walnut Creek, CA. I have owned Groenendaels since 1989 and have played around with obedience, conformation, agility, and tracking, perhaps someday I might get good at one of these activities!
My latest fur-kid is Lobo a.k.a. Images and Basquelaine’s Wild de Diablo.
(Rolin Ridge's Victory of Images x Images Majestic Dante).
